Mr Tobot (2013):

 

“Mr Tobot”, is my first short written film project belonging to a collection of the Seven Tales of Lady Mabel.

 

Synopsis: The story is one of a young badger abandoned by his parents because he suffers from a severe dystrophy which has made him ugly. He is rescued by a kind fisherman, Filipino, who takes care of him during a good part of his life and names him Tobot. When his old master dies, Mr Tobot, is old and incapable of taking care of himself, and thus abandons himself to death. At this moment, a family of tarsiers make their appearance and discover his body lying on the ground. Tarsiers, known to be unscrupulous thieves of corpses, sees in him an immense wealth. They decide to take him to their den to examine the goods more closely. But there, surprise! The badger is still breathing...
